How does the AI garden design work?

Pick a style, and we generate a photorealistic redesign of your actual garden. When you love one, unlock its planting plan – every plant, how many to buy, and where each goes.

Are the plants real – can I actually buy and plant them?

Yes. Every design can become a planting plan of real, available UK plants, with quantities, each plant's mature height and spread, where it goes and a month-by-month flowering guide. The plans are built on real horticultural data and shaped by a professional gardener – not generic AI guesses – so the garden in the picture is a garden you can genuinely plant.

What garden styles can I choose from?

Four to start: cottage, shady (including dry shade under trees), drought-tolerant Mediterranean, and pollinator and wildlife. You can also describe the look you're after in your own words – say, something low-maintenance – and the design follows your brief.

Do I need a special photo or camera?

Accepted Answer

No – a normal phone photo is perfect. Photograph your whole garden if it's small and simple, or one border at a time for larger or more complex gardens, where each bed has its own light and soil.

Why does my redesign look like high summer?

Accepted Answer

We render your garden at its peak, in full flower, so you can see how lush and full it can look. It's an artist's impression, and your real garden will change through the seasons. The planting plan that comes with it includes a month-by-month flowering calendar and plants chosen for year-round interest, so there's colour and structure well beyond the summer picture.

Is the first design really free, and what does it cost after?

Your first design is genuinely free, with no card required. After that, subscriptions start at £19 a month. The professional planting plan is a separate one-off you only buy if you want to make a design real.

What do the subscription plans include?

Accepted Answer

Every plan gives you a set number of garden designs each month at a chosen image quality. Starter is £19 a month for 20 designs, Pro is £29 a month for 50 designs at higher resolution, and Ultra is £49 a month for 100 designs at our highest print-quality resolution. The one-off professional planting plan (£39) can be added to any design on any plan.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, any time from your dashboard. Move up a tier and your larger design allowance is there straight away. Move down and the smaller allowance applies; any designs you've already used this month still count, and everything refreshes on your next monthly billing date. There's no lock-in and no cancellation fee.

What happens if I use up my designs before the month is out?

You've got two options: upgrade to a higher tier for a larger monthly allowance, or wait for your designs to refresh at the start of your next monthly billing period. Your saved designs and any planting plans you've bought always stay available, whether or not you have designs left.

Question 11

How do I cancel, and what happens to my access?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel any time, in a couple of clicks: go to your dashboard, click 'Manage plan', and on the billing page that opens click 'Cancel plan' and confirm. You keep full access to your remaining designs until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again after that. Any planting plans you've already bought are yours to keep and stay on your dashboard.

Do you offer refunds?

Because each design and planting plan is generated for you on demand, the work is done and the cost incurred the moment you create it, so purchases aren't refundable. You can always cancel a subscription any time to avoid future charges, and your first design is free so you can see exactly what you're getting before you pay.

Where do I find my planting plan and PDF?

As soon as you buy a planting plan we email it to you, with the plan attached as a PDF and a link to view it online. You can also open it any time from your dashboard, where it's saved against that garden. If it's not in your inbox, give it a minute and check your spam folder.
